Apartment in West Hampstead, London
A confusingly planned duplex apartment has been restructured on the second and third floors of a late Edwardian building. The building lies in a conservation area and planning permission was obtained to alter the rear elevation windows to take advantage of the leafy views from the living spaces. A simple single volume sitting/dining/kitchen space was carved from the original structure allowing an elegant and efficient layout for city living.
